A love of travel was sparked at the age of 11 on a family trip to Europe, but visiting Asia didn’t happen until she was 27 where tour operator, Debbie Kindness fell in love with the craziness of diverse India and runs 8-10 different tours a year, through Incredible India Tours.
This interview with Debbie is a bit different than the usual. Instead of inspiring a different way of thinking and doing business, we take you on an Indian experience India in which Debbie explains how India changed her and the way she looked at the world. She shares why India is such a vast and diverse nation, a lifetime isn’t enough to experience it all. However, I know from personal experience that in just two or three weeks, a well-planned trip provided me with a life-changing experience.
With a home in Udaipur, Debbie is always on the lookout for women-based organisations, businesses, shops etc that she can involve in our tours. Where we do come across women who we believe we can assist to better their lives, we do what we can, whether it be to assist them in starting a small independent home-based business, perhaps by offering cooking classes or becoming involved in our tours simply by inviting our clients home for a chai and to meet their families.
You are going to love this podcast as I share my personal India experience with Debbie’s love of the country.
Because our groups are so small (maximum 10 participants), her tours can fill up quite quickly, so get in early if there is a tour you’re interested in booking. I can guarantee it is a totally different experience.
