It is critical to have LinkedIn strategies in place to establish yourself as an authority.
Your LinkedIn account makes it easier for you to connect with people and opportunities as compared to other job boards or social networking platforms.
One of the training workshops I particularly enjoy delivering is working with businesses to assist their teams in establishing professional LinkedIn profiles.
This week I had the opportunity to work with a banking group to do just that.
Rather than using LinkedIn as a glorified address book (yuck) or standard resume (boring), making it personal to each individual.
Strategies to increase your profile and establish yourself as an authority on LinkedIn by getting personal while remaining professional are the key.
These are just a few questions you can address when designing a LinkedIn profile that will grab a prospect’s attention.
- Why are you in this industry?
Explaining why you’re in your industry provides insight into your passion and motivations, helping to create a personal connection with your audience. - What is it that you enjoy most about helping clients get results?
Sharing what you enjoy about helping clients illustrates your dedication to their success and highlights your client-centric approach. - What unique skills and experiences do you bring to the table?
Detailing your unique skills and experiences differentiates you from others in your field and showcases your specific expertise and capabilities. - What are your core values and how do they influence your work?
Describing your core values and their impact on your work helps potential clients and employers understand your ethical stance and professional standards. - What significant achievements have you accomplished in your career?
Highlighting significant achievements demonstrates your ability to deliver results and provides tangible evidence of your professional impact. - How do you stay current with industry trends and advancements?
Explaining how you stay current with industry trends shows your commitment to continuous learning and keeping your skills and knowledge up-to-date.
