With a supportive Mastermind Group, your dreams are achievable.

My favourite books of my childhood were the Chronicles of Narnia. They started a lifelong love for me of all things science fantasy.

The inventive mind of C.S. Lewis has entertained generations of children (and children at heart).

Apart from being authors, playwrights, and poets, do you know what C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams, and Owen Barfield have in common?

Circa 1931, these and other writers formed an informal Oxford literary discussion group known as The Inklings and met weekly to discuss ideas and get their creative juices flowing for nearly two decades.

They met in a corner of The Eagle and Child pub every Tuesday. Readings and discussion of the member’s unfinished works were the principal purposes of the meetings as well as being held accountable by their peers.

It was a meeting of the (creative) minds…in other words, a Mastermind meeting.

That the result from these meetings was some of the most loved books of all time grew here was not a surprise considering the power of the Mastermind group.

Author of ‘The Law of Success’ and ‘Think and Grow Rich’, Napoleon Hill advocated for mastermind groups throughout his career as a way of taking your personal and professional life to the next level.

There is plenty of evidence through history that demonstrates where the coming together of Masterminds brings forth the power of creativity and support that you can’t find when you go it alone.

“Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it”

One of the principal reasons I started the We Are Women Mastermind Group over 6 years ago was to do exactly that. To create a space where business women could get together to share information, grow in self, provide opportunities to be more successful in business, to be supported, held accountable, and develop lasting value-based relationships.

But it isn’t just through the WAW Mastermind this has occurred.

I see the same thing happening in the We Are Success Mentoring Programs with both women and men. Rather than peer-to-peer mentoring, mentoring from a coach or a topic authority is a highly valuable way to succeed.

The point I am wanting to make in this blog is you cannot reach the heights of success if you try to go it alone.

Find a group of peers, a collective, a Mastermind group where you can feed off each other’s wisdom. Find a coach or mentor who will help you in achieving your goals, to be more accountable, and communicate more effectively.

You don’t have to do it alone.

Find out more about how you can achieve greater success with the right coaching/mentoring program for you.

Yours in business,
